As a Financial Advisor with the Ascend Advisory Group, Aaron takes a highly personalized approach to providing his clients with trusted advice as he helps them build and manage their assets. Aaron specializes in retirement planning, as well as financial and wealth preservation strategies for successful individuals, families, business owners and professional athletes.

Before joining Ascend as a Financial Advisor, Aaron enjoyed a 10 year career as a professional golfer.  Aaron earned an impressive string of accomplishments, including seven top-10 finishes in 2002, 4th place in the Chrysler Classic of Tucson in 2003, a course record 63 at the TELUS Edmonton Open in 2001.  In addition, Aaron competed in a number of high profile tournaments including The Sony Open in Hawaii, The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, The Buick Invitational, The Ford Championship at Doral, The Honda Classic, as well as the U.S. Open at Pinehurst.

Aaron's educational background includes earning his Bachelor of Science in Statistics with a Business Management minor from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota in 1996. He was captain of the University of Minnesota golf team and an Academic All-American.

 After retiring from golf, Aaron’s experience as a professional athlete and his collegiate background in finance made his transition to a Financial Advisor a natural. He holds all the required securities registrations and insurance1 licenses to provide his clients with integrated investment and risk management strategies.

Away from the office, Aaron volunteers his time as a member of the Board of Governors for the Little Crow Golf Club in Spicer, Minnesota and is a member of the Finance Committee at his church. He enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his children's sports teams. Aaron and his wife Leah have three children, Nicholas, Michael and Jacob and live in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
