Brad is a Co-founder and Partner with Ascend Advisory Group and has over 21 years of experience as a financial advisor. Brad has built his wealth management practice by helping successful individuals, families, business owners and professional athletes achieve their financial goals by designing comprehensive portfolio strategies that help balance risk, growth and income to meet each client’s individual needs.

Brad’s background includes graduating from The Ohio State University in 1982 with a BA in Behavioral Sciences and earning a Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary in 1987. Brad built his business experience in advertising, counseling and small business ownership before turning to financial services and co-founding ProVest Management Group Inc. in 1990. Driven by his goal of offering his clients comprehensive investment planning and wealth management, he left ProVest in order to help co-found Ascend Advisory Group.

As a financial advisor, Brad holds several securities registrations and insurance1 licenses including his Series 6, 7, 63, 24 and 31. In addition,
Brad is a certified charter member of the NFL Registered Player Financial Advisors Program. These registrations, along with his experience and broad product knowledge enable him to create customized financial strategies for his clients based on their unique financial goals and tolerance for risk.

Away from the office Brad is active in the community and donates his time to a number of organizations including serving as the President of Housing Services Alliance, Inc., an Ohio non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to senior citizens in assisted-living facilities. He is also a board member of VisionTrust International which provides leadership, counseling and financial resources to over twenty orphanages and children’s ministries throughout the world, including Thailand, India, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Africa. Brad also serves as a board member for Blood Water Mission, an international grassroots organization working with local communities against the HIV/AIDS and water crisis in Africa.

Brad and his wife Ginger have four children: Bethany, Daniel, Michael and Amy. The Gibsons make their home in Powell, Ohio.
