The Institute of Business & Finance has selected Chris Bardos to serve on its Standards Board for 2008.

November 15, 2007 Ascend Advisory Group was selected as a finalist by Columbus Business First for Best Places to Work in Columbus. Ascend Advisory ranked 6 overall in the category of 10 – 25 employees.

NEW YORK (October 9, 2007)—Tony Reilly, Principal of Ascend Advisory Group LLC attended the third-annual “Top Advisors Summit” hosted by Barron’s magazine and R.J. Shook, author of “The Winner’s Circle” books rating America’s top financial advisors. The invitation-only conference was held at the Waldorf-Astoria from September 26-28 in New York City.

September 23, 2005 Business First, a local Columbus, OH business publication, interviewed Tony Reilly regarding his thoughts surrounding marketing techniques investment firms use to target women investors. “One size does not fit all, the most important thing I can do from an investing standpoint…is to find what their needs and objectives are.”

The July 2005 issue of Columbus CEO Magazine, a well-known and respected news publication for Central Ohio, wished to publish a story about a local management company that was gaining national attention. Because of his knowledge and experience in the financial industry, Columbus CEO interviewed Tony Reilly and other industry leaders for their opinion about this firm. Tony contributed significantly to the article, being quoted numerous times.

Being recognized by our peers for our philosophy, our style and success, is extremely flattering.

June, 2005, Brad Gibson, board member of Vision Trust International (VTI) an organization that provides aid to orphanages around the world, along with Jeff Korbini visited Casa Luz Orphanage in Peru to see if VTI could provide support and sponsorship. Coming up in November 2005 Brad will visit the Dominican Republic with VTI.

In June 2003 the National Football League Players Association certified Brad Gibson as a NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor. With this recognition, Brad is among a diverse and respected group of qualified, pre-selected financial advisors for NFL players.

The week of August 22, Brad Gibson will be hosting a number of LPGA members for the Wendy's Golf Championship for Children. The proceeds from the tournament will support the Children's Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer.

Chris Bardos attended the American Funds / Capital Guardian Investment Advisor Forum May 5-6th 2005 in Los Angeles, CA. The focus of this forum was on Capital Guardian's investment management process. The meeting involved discussions with portfolio counselors and investment analysts regarding current market conditions and interest rate outlooks.

Chris Bardos has been interviewed numerous times by Columbus, Ohio's local CBS-TV affiliate requesting his thoughts on market matters during particular times when a professional's expertise is required. Some topics Chris has covered for Channel 10 include:

Chris was called to give his opinion about the Columbus, Ohio economy when America West
pulled their airline's hub from Port Columbus International.
Chris has also been asked to comment for the viewing audience when The Federal Reserve either
lowers or raises the Fed Funds interest rate.
